Die vier Freunde kommen nach drei Monaten von ihrer Nordpol-Expedition zurück. Als Sheldon seinen wissenschaftlichen Erfolg feiern will, gestehen ihm Howard und Raj, dass die vermeintlich bahnbrechende physikalische Entdeckung nur ein Trick von ihnen war, um seinem diktatorischen Gehabe und seinen Launen zu entgehen. Doch Sheldon hat bereits der gesamten Uni davon erzählt ... Leonard und Penny wollen es miteinander versuchen, doch andauernd kommt ihnen etwas dazwischen.
