Fadia fled Afghanistan at 16, survived a dangerous journey through Iran and Turkey, and spent a year at the Ritsona refugee camp in Greece before eventually reaching Germany. Around five years later, she returns - only to find the gates still closed to her. Today, Fadia volunteers with ROSA, a charity that creates safe spaces for women in refugee camps around Athens.
