Seit Jahrhunderten machen Vampire die USA unsicher. Das muss auch der junge Abraham Lincoln schmerzhaft erfahren, als einer der Blutsauger seine Mutter tötet. Er sinnt auf Rache. Doch Vampire zu töten, ist eine lebensgefährliche Aufgabe, wie Abraham erfahren muss. Also geht er zunächst bei dem geheimnisvollen Henry Sturges in die Lehre. Mit dessen Unterstützung, will er den Obervampir Adam zu Staub und Asche verwandeln.
