If you join carsharing or buy solar panels, you get paid money in a currency of its own in the small town Traunstein at Lake Chiemsee in Germany. The trick: you can only spend the "Chiemgauer" in stores and pubs in the region, which again should cut Co2 emissions. Does it work?
