Medical Frontiers: Rectal Cancer: Advances in Anus-Preserving Surgery

Rectal cancer is increasing among younger people. Depending on the stage, a stoma may be needed. We report on efforts to preserve the anus using robotic-assisted surgery and artificial intelligence.
