Hercules ist der Sohn der Götter Zeus und Hera und hat übermenschliche Kräfte. Als Säugling wird er von Hades, dem Gott der Unterwelt, entführt und ausgesetzt. Glücklicherweise wird er gefunden und verbringt seine Kindheit bei 'irdischen' Adoptiveltern.
