Air Corridor to Italy - Helping Refugees in the Pope's Name

In the fall of 2013, nearly 400 refugees drowned off the coast of the Italian island of Lampedusa. Pope Francis told Europe it was a scandal - and many Christians in Italy felt this was a tragedy they could not accept. An alliance of groups and charities decided to create a legal way for refugees to escape to Europe.
